IFK Trelleborg Handboll

IFK Trelleborg Handboll (IFK = Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna ) is a Swedish handball club from Trelleborg .

The club IFK Trelleborg was founded in the 1910th At the annual meeting of the club on January 24, 1938 it was decided to spin off the handball department as an independent club IFK Trelleborg Handboll. On February 13 of that year, the new club lost their first game against Trelleborgs FF 9:12.

The club's home venue is the Söderslättshallen with a capacity of 2,000.

The first men's team rose after the 2008/2009 season in the top Swedish league, the Elitserien , in the Allsvenskan . The women's team plays in Division 3.
