activities

In 1998 Intergraf was involved in consultations with the Committee for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, in which the limitation of volatile organic substances in various processes was discussed.

At the instigation and with the assistance of Intergraf the developed European Committee for Standardization a standard for security printers , known as CEN Workshop Agreement (CWA) CWA 14641: in 2009, the largest portion of the ISO 14298 - makes control of the security printing process (Management of security printing processes) which in turn became the basis of the US standard ANSI / NASPO SA 2013.

Since 2009, Intergraf has been registered as a lobby organization in the transparency register of the European Commission . For this purpose, four named persons have been given access authorization to the office of the Commission.

Part of Intergraf's activities is politically sponsored research designed to support member organizations through the ages. In 2010, a project on change management in the printing industry was started on behalf of the European Union , which ended in 2012 with a best practice report and a toolkit for members.

Together with social partners such as the United Services Union (ver.di), the British service union Unite and the Federal Association of Printing and Media , INTERGRAF is developing the standards for the training of the next generation of printers.
