IRISHsteirisch is a music group. The Austrian formation has set itself the goal of musically combining Irish and Styrian sounds. The Celtic origin of both directions is unmistakable when the Styrian harmonica and fiddle play together.

In 2003 the first CD was released under the title oafach leb'n , which was produced by the ex- Alpinkatzen Wolfgang Spannberger and Reinhard Stranzinger . It contains 14 tracks and spans from Irish to Styrian music, without leaving out traditionals and other well-known songs.

In 2007 the second CD was released with the name Duat wia do . The name of this CD says it all. 15 tracks can be found on this CD, which also contains a video CD as a bonus feature with exclusive backstage footage of an intimate pub gig in Wörschach . This CD was produced by Ernst Gottschmann and partly recorded in his own studio “Living Room Production” and at “Extension Productions”.

In 2011 the third CD was released under the name "de third". A musical foray from Ausseerland to Ireland and back again.
