The ISCH-13 Start is a passenger car from the Russian Ischmasch works.

Based on the ISCH-2125 and the Fiat 124 , the vehicle should go into series production as a sports model. As with its predecessor, it was planned to be a liftback . Originally the 13 Start was supposed to go into series production as the Moskvich-412 , but since this model series already existed, the model was then marketed as an ISCH vehicle.

The vehicle was finally designed in 1979 with front-wheel drive and a 1.5-liter gasoline engine . The transmission used came from the Moskvich-412.

After completing the prototype, the Ischmasch works wanted to register the vehicle at local and international racing events. However, there was no interest in the exhibitions at which the vehicle was presented. In Central America, too, where the model took part in two demonstration events, it was downright ignored. So the idea of mass production was dropped back in 1980. The official successor later became the ISCH-2126 Orbita . Competitors in Central America would have been the Oldsmobile Toronado and the Cadillac Eldorado Coupé. In Europe, on the other hand, he would have had to compete against the better-powered Saab 99 .

In 2007 the prototype was restored in Izhevsk and is now on display in the factory museum.
