The five-door hatchback ISCH-2125 or ISCH-2125 station wagon was from 1973 to 1997 by the Kalashnikov Concern -Werken in Russia produced and was one of the best-selling family cars in the USSR .

Special features of the 2125

Compared to the previous model, the suspension has been strengthened and the rear bench seat has been designed to be foldable to allow a larger loading area. After several accidents, the brake system was revised in 1980 and now has a vacuum brake booster .

Revision as of 21251

In 1982 the ISCH-2125 was revised to the type ISCH-21251 . The innovations included front disc brakes, a new braking system, new electronics, recessed door handles and a new grille with round headlights. The interior has also been modernized. The model now also had door upholstery and a new instrument panel that complied with UN and UNECE regulations. The model was built unchanged until production was discontinued in 1997.
