ITDT

IBM Tape Diagnostic Tool ( ITDT ) is diagnostic software for testing IBM LTO and Enterprise tape storage drives . This diagnostic software was developed using the Eclipse development environment , which allows easy migration to a wide variety of operating systems.

tapeutil - functionality with which individual SCSI commands can be issued

A predecessor of ITDT was TapeUtil , which was delivered with the IBM tape device drivers. In Unix operating systems, there was tapeutil and in Microsoft operating systems ntutil called.
