I Love New York is an American reality TV show that Tiffany Pollard wants to find her great love. Pollard already played the candidate "New York" on the show Flavor of Love , which served as a model for I Love New York .

Tiffany Pollard only took part in the first season of Flavor of Love, but in which she lost to Hoopz in the final. She later came as a guest on Flavor of Love 2 to find out who is honest with him and who is not. At the end of the episode, Flavor asked New York to participate in the rest of the season, which she accepted. At the end of the season she was back in the finals and lost again. This time against her colleague Deelishis (aka Chandra Davis ). In the Reunion Show, Flav offered her to do her own TV show under the name 'I love New York'. In the first season, Tango won, who proposed marriage to New York after the winner was announced, which she accepted. But he broke up on the Reunion Show because New York had insulted his mother. Before the second season, New York was undergoing therapy. In the finale of the second season, Tailor Made finally won. On the Reunion Show he made her a marriage proposal, which she accepted. In summer 2008 they separated again.
season 1
The first season, consisting of twelve episodes, started in the USA on VH1 on January 8, 2007 and ended on April 15, 2007. The winner was Tango, which proposed marriage to "New York" in the final. In the end, Tango broke up with New York in a special episode because it offended his mother. He also gave the reason that he would love Tiffany as a person and not her fictional character New York. Thereupon Pollard regretted her decision not to have chosen "Chance".

season 2
The second season aired from October 8, 2007 to January 6, 2008 in the United States. The season has been running in Germany since July 18, 2008.
Unlike the first season, Chamo (Mauricio Sanchez) no longer appears as New York's assistant. In his place, “Big Ant” (Anthony) will act as her assistant and “bodyguard”. The season 2 winner was Tailor Made, whose real name is George Weisgerber and who found "New York" not at all attractive at the beginning of the season. On the "Reunion" show, George Weisgerber repeated his proposal and New York accepted it. The two lived together in a New York apartment. However, in early 2008 they are said to have separated.
