Flavor of Love is an American reality - TV show in which Flavor Flav , rapper of the group Public Enemy seeks a partner. As a continuation of the docu-soap Strange Love , in which Flavor Flav and Brigitte Nielsen documented their love affair that had flared up during the third season of The Surreal Life , Flavor of Love had three seasons and over five offshoots .
As part of the VH1 - franchises "Celebreality" series the concept of the show was The Bachelor modeled. Twenty women live with Flavor Flav in a villa in Encino , from which he chooses a potential partner after 11 to 15 episodes. In the first episode of a season, each participant is given a nickname by Flavor Flav, under which she will be kept from now on. The actual name of the candidate will only be revealed after she has left. Each episode must have one or more women leave the show. Season Two - Flavor of Love 2 (2006)
After the success of the first season, VH1 produced a second in the same year. Again 20 candidates fought for Flavor Flav's favor.
