Saaphyri Tamese Windsor (* 31 October 1979 in Los Angeles , California , as Wanda Scott ) is an American actress , musician , blogger , photo model , stylist , designer , entrepreneur , it-girl , stripper and reality TV - Star .

Saaphyri was best known for her fight for a bed with candidate H-Town on the television show Flavor of Love 2 . In 2007 she won the reality show Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School and $ 50,000 in prize money. Since then, she has her own fashion line of unisex lip balm called Saaphyri's Lip Chap , who by their struggle with H-Town native.

In 2007 she took part in the second season of Flavor of Love. Just 15 minutes after entering the Flavor Flavs Villa, Saaphyri and H-Town argued over the last bed as the other beds were already taken and there were fewer beds than candidates. This resulted in a fight between the two. Flavor Flav then found out about the fight from the other candidates and decided that Saaphyri was responsible for the fight. That's why she had to leave the villa and the show. Through this fight Saaphyri became known all over the US and received many film offers and nominations for some awards.

Saaphyri attended Mo'Nique's Charm School, where a total of 13 Flavor of Love candidates competed to win the $ 50,000 prize pool. In the sixth episode, Saaphyri ignored a challenge. She was later eliminated, but brought back by Mo'Nique for the next episode. Then Saaphyri made it to the final. Here, the four remaining girls had to answer several quiz questions to show who had learned and retained the most during the season. The girls who first answered three questions incorrectly were eliminated. Saaphyri went the furthest to become the winner of the competition and the $ 50,000 prize pool.

In the 7th episode of Flavor of Love 3, Saaphyri and Buckwild came as guests and brought four new girls to the show for Flavor Flav.

I Love Money 2

Saaphyri finished fifth in the second season of I Love Money on VH1 . She was eliminated in the 14th episode in the finals, after finishing last in this challenge.

Work as a model

Saaphyri works as a model for Eye Candy Modeling and has appeared in various music videos , for example in those of her idols Flavor Flav , 50 Cent , Nelly , TI , Jay-Z and Lil Wayne . She's also featured on the covers of many magazines, especially after winning Charm School . For example, she was photographed in Playboy in April 2008 and on the cover of Black Men magazine.

Music career

In February 2009, Saaphyri released her debut single Lip Chap Anthem with accompanying music video as an advertisement for her Lip Chap articles. This song can be stylistically assigned to R&B . Windsor received good reviews from many websites for their vocal performances. The song was released as a music video on Saaphyri's Myspace page.

Saaphyri was jailed for three years in early 2009. She said on Twitter that she stole from her uncle. In August 2010, she was released after 22 months.
