Iago Bouzón Amoedo (born June 16, 1983 in Redondela , Galicia ) is a Spanish football player who plays in Gimnàstic de Tarragona in the Segunda División .

Player career

Born in Galicia, Iago Bouzón started his career as a professional footballer at Celta Vigo , having played for the North-West Spaniards' B team since 2001, and was appointed to the first team for the first time in 2003. Until his departure in 2005 for second division competitor Recreativo Huelva , Iago Bouzón was unable to prevail with the Galicians. Although he was part of the promotion team, he stayed instead in the Segunda División , where he reached the Spanish football championship with his team in the following year (2005/06). He stayed with Huelva for five years and continued to play for the club after relegation in 2009 .

In 2010 he moved to Omonia Nicosia in Cyprus .
