Iain MacMillan

Iain MacMillan (born October 20, 1938 in Carnoustie , Scotland , † May 8, 2006 in Carnoustie, Angus , Scotland) was a British photographer who made a name for himself with photos from the rock and pop scene and the Beatles' cover photo -Album Abbey Road became famous on August 8, 1969. The four Beatles can be seen in single file - Paul McCartney barefoot - crossing a zebra crossing near their record studio on London's Abbey Road.

In 1971 Iain MacMillan also shot the famous front and profile photos of John Lennon .

MacMillan died of cancer.
