Ian Kendall (born December 11, 1947 in Blackburn , † August 2010 ibid) was an English football player .

Career

Kendall represented as a student selection teams from Blackburn and Lancashire (1962/63), was a junior player with the Blackburn Rovers , received his first professional contract in December 1965 and won the championship in the Central League with the reserve team in 1966/67 . In Blackburn's first team, the " redhead " remained without a competitive game and in July 1967 joined the third division promoted FC Southport . Initially equipped as a test player for coach Billy Bingham with a monthly contract, he convinced the following months and received a contract with Dave Pearson at the beginning of November until the end of the season. His competitive debut on September 9, 1967 in a 0-1 defeat at Scunthorpe United was followed by only one further appearance as a substitute in October at Leyton Orient for the half- forward . In early February 1968 he was released from his contract and his move to Bangor City ended his career in the Football League .

As a result, Kendall played until mid-1970 with the FC Chorley , Lancaster City , the FC Darwen , FC Clitheroe (min. Season 1971/72) and FC Nelson for a number of clubs in non-League football Lancashire, full operational Kendall, who lives in Blackburn, has a fish-and-chip snack.
