Ian Rank-Broadley

Ian Rank-Broadley (* 1952 in Walton-on-Thames (county Surrey )) is a British sculptor .

Career

Ian Rank-Broadley studied sculpture in England from 1970 to 1976 and later in Italy and France. After studying at the Slade School of Fine Art in London, Ian Rank Broadley was awarded the Boise Foreign Scholarship for Italy in 1977. In 1994 he became a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors.

His works can be seen in the British Museum and the Rijksmuseum, among others. He has also designed various motifs for British coins, such as: B. for various throne anniversaries. The updated portrait of Queen Elizabeth II , which was designed by Ian Rank Broadley, has been used on coins in Great Britain and the Commonwealth of Nations since 1998 . Broadley is also the creator of several memorials, such as the Armed Forces Memorial in Staffordshire .
