Iason Sappas ( Greek Ιάσων Σάππας , * 1892 , † unknown) was a Greek sports shooter .
Career
Iason Sappas took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp in four disciplines. With the free rifle he finished 13th in the team competition of the three-position fight, while he just missed a medal win with the team in the competition with the free pistol in fourth. He finished the individual with the free pistol in eighth place. In the team competition with the army revolver over 30 m, he took second place with the Greek team, which also included Georgios Moraitinis , Alexandros Theofilakis , Ioannis Theofilakis and Alexandros Vrasivanopoulos , behind the US and ahead of the Swiss team. With 258 points, Sappas was the team's second best shooter alongside Moraitinis.
