The Heratinger See or Ibmer See is a lake in Upper Austria and belongs to the Oberinnviertel Lake District. It is located in the municipality of Eggelsberg .
geography
The lake is located on the northern border of the Ibmer Moor in the Ibm district of the Eggelsberg community. The outflow of the water is one of the source rivers of the Moosach , a small right tributary of the Salzach . The lake has an area of 0.25 km². Its maximum extent is 600 meters in length, 500 meters in width and its greatest depth is 3.3 meters.
tourism
The Heratinger See belongs to the Seelentium tourist region and is primarily used as a swimming lake in summer. There is a lido on the north bank, which has a beach volleyball court, among other things . A signposted hiking trail leads from the parking lot of the pool to the moor nature trail in the neighboring Ibmer Moor. A barefoot path was laid out around the lake in 2010 , which makes the different types of soil tangible.
