Ibn Battuta is a small lunar crater in Mare Fecunditatis , a mare in the east of the moon's front. It is located southwest of Lindbergh Crater and northeast of Goclenius .

The crater is symmetrically circular with a wide inner area. The sloping inner slopes have a slightly higher albedo than the surrounding mare, but the inner area corresponds to the surrounding area. There is a smaller crater on the western edge, otherwise there are no noticeable features.

The crater was named Goclenius A before it was named by the IAU after the Berber explorer Ibn Battuta .
