The Iceberg Point ( English for Eisbergspitze ) is a headland on the south coast of Bird Island in the archipelago of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It marks the eastern limit of the entrance from Jordan Cove into Freshwater Inlet .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee descriptively named the headland in 2012.
