I know an animal is a children's program that is broadcast on Südwestrundfunk (SWR) and moderated by children. Animals are presented in terms of content .
concept
The format should meet its viewers at eye level. Adults do not play a role for viewers. Animations are used to convey content . SWR developed these in cooperation with the animation institute of the Ludwigsburg Film Academy , the Stuttgart animated film maker Andreas Hykade and Studio Film Bilder .
Charisma
The first broadcast was on May 28, 2012 within the pre-school series KiKANiNCHEN , there is now a second (October 2013) and third season (December 2015) each with 13 additional episodes. In all episodes, children are encouraged to take a close look at animals. How heavy is an elephant - how many children does it take to weigh the same weight? For the third season there was a cinema premiere in Stuttgart on December 6, 2015, as part of the 21st Filmschau Baden-Württemberg .

“Children between the ages of three and six can gain a lot from the show. The simple and child-friendly presentation of the magazine program suits the skills of preschool children.
