Ida Jasmine Hegazi Høyer (born June 2, 1981 ) is a Norwegian writer .

Høyer made his debut in 2012 with the novel Under verden . Each year, Ut and Unnskyld followed . The three books are often referred to as the U-Trilogy . For Unnskyld , Høyer received the 2015 European Union Literature Prize and was nominated for the Norwegian Book Blogger Prize. Fortellingen om øde (literally: tale of seclusion; German title: Das Schwarze Paradies ) was nominated for the P2 listener's novel prize ( shortlist ) in 2015 , after Under verden was already on the longlist in 2012 . Fortellingen om øde is about the " Galápagos Affair " of 1934.

The Morgenbladet newspaper listed Ida Hegazi Høyer among the top ten authors under 35 years of age in 2015. The year before, she received the Bjørnson grant from Norwegian booksellers.
