Idirisu Mohammed Biyira
Idirisu Mohammed Biyira (born August 9, 1953 in Navrongo ) is a Ghanaian diplomat .
Life
From 1966 to 1973 Biyira attended high school in Tarkwa . He then studied at the University of Ghana , where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English and History in 1976 . From 1976 to September 1977 he was head of the Electoral Commission in Accra . In December 1977 he became electoral board in Cape Coast .
In September 1978 Biyira entered the foreign service. From 1984 to 1988 he was employed in the Ghanaian mission in Cairo . From 1992 to 1996 he worked in Rome and from 1998 to 2002 in Abuja . From 2002 to January 2004 he served in the New York City Mission . From June 16, 2004 to February 23, 2010 he was ambassador to Kinshasa .
