Teasing the Hedgehog is a board game that simulates a race among hedgehogs . The authors are Doris Matthäus and Frank Nestel , the graphics are by Doris Matthäus.

Course of the game

The game board consists of 6 by 9 fields, the first 6 form the start, the last 6 the goal. First, the players in turn place one of their four hedgehogs on one of the starting spaces. This way, towers of hedgehogs emerge in the further course, whereby only the top one is able to move. Then the first player rolls the dice , now he can make a sideways move with his own hedgehog on an adjacent lane, then he moves one space forward with a hedgehog that is not necessarily his own on the lane that has the same number as the number rolled. There are six “hedgehog fields” on the playing field, from which you cannot move until there are no more hedgehogs in the rows behind.

variants

  • Since 2008 there has been an implementation of the game for Nintendo DS .
  • Since 2009 there has been an issue of Igel anger and Aunt Tarantula in a box. The game board from Igel annoying is available in color for the first time, as well as an additional booklet with 40 variants of the game.

review

  • Spielphase writes about this: “ The funny hedgehog race is exciting and at the end of the day it can happen that you have to help another player pull if you throw awkwardly. There is nothing to complain about when it comes to the material and the many variants also ensure long-lasting fun. "
