Doris Matthew

Doris Matthäus (born April 3, 1963 in Erlangen ) is a German game designer and graphic designer for board and card games .

Life

Doris Matthäus grew up in Erlangen and Herzogenaurach and went to school there. She studied in Erlangen. In 1990 she achieved 10th place at the German Games Prize with the board game " Big Potatoes" . Among other things, she became known for the illustration of Carcassonne and other games by Hans im Glück Verlag . In addition, together with her husband Frank Nestel , Matthäus also develops and designs her own games and publishes them in-house by Doris & Frank . Today she lives with her family in a suburb of Erlangen.
