Ignaz Fränzinger

Ignaz von Fränzinger (born June 3, 1792 in Bruchsal , † March 8, 1856 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Born as the son of a senior official assistant professor , Ignaz Fränzinger studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1810 he was the founder of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . After graduating, he became a legal intern in 1813. In 1814 he served as a lieutenant in the free hunter regiment. In 1815 he was transferred to the cavalry of the 3rd Infantry Brigade. In 1829 he became a councilor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Karlsruhe. In 1835 he was appointed to the Privy Council of War. In 1844 he moved to local government and became the head of the Lahr district office. In 1846 he was appointed Privy Councilor 3rd class. In 1847 he moved to the district office of Emmendingen, where he was retired in 1849.
