Ignaz check
Ignaz Scheck (born July 22, 1841 in Linz ; † May 13, 1903 there ) was an Austrian architect and builder .
Live and act
Ignaz Scheck received his trade license in Urfahr in 1873 and shortly afterwards became head of the Upper Austrian construction company , which he remained until his death. He is considered an important representative of strict historicism in Upper Austria and, alongside Hermann Krackowizer , Scheck was one of the most important architects in Linz at the time. His main works are the Petrinum Linz and the management of the Allgemeine Sparkasse on the promenade in Linz.
