Ignaz Weixelbaumer

Ignaz Weixelbaumer (born October 12, 1875 in Linz , Upper Austria ; † January 30, 1942 there ) was an Austrian politician ( CSP ).

Life

Ignaz Weixelbaumer learned the profession of plumber after attending compulsory schools . In 1907 he took over his parents' business in Linz. In the same year he was also elected chairman of the Linzer Spengler cooperative . Weixelbaumer held this position until 1924.

From 1925 Weixelbaumer sat as a Christian Social Member in the Upper Austrian Landtag . In 1926 he was also elected Vice President of the Linz Chamber of Commerce .

In May 1931 he moved to the Federal Council in Vienna . Weixelbaumer held a mandate in the regional chamber until May 1934.

From 1934 to 1938 he was a member of the Federal Economic Council, which existed in Austria after the May constitution .
