Igor Tadić (born July 4, 1986 ) is a Swiss football player with Serbian roots.
Career
Igor Tadić came to live with his parents in Switzerland in 1990 at the age of four. He had previously lived with his grandparents in Serbia. At SC Steinhausen, Tadic went through the junior division. When a possible change to the U-18 team of SC Kriens became an issue, it was judged to be too weak. In the third division , Tadic played in the first team at SC Steinhausen until he moved to the first division for FC Zug 94 in 2005 . In 2009, the change to SC Kriens took place within the first division, with which he made promotion to the Challenge League in the same season . In the 2011/12 season , Igor Tadic scored a total of 14 goals in the first half of the season , plus six more goals in the Swiss Cup.
The then leaders of the Challenge League, FC St. Gallen , signed the striker for the coming 2012/13 season . It was the first professional contract for Tadic, who until now was still working as a construction worker. After the rise of the FCSG, Igor Tadić made his Super League debut in the home game against Grasshoppers Zurich . He scored his first goal in the Cup against the lower-class FC Altstetten, where he made it 7-0. In the championship he came to eight partial appearances during the entire season, but remained without a goal. Mostly Tadić was in the squad of the U-21 team in the first division promotion , where he had a significant share in relegation with twelve hits in eleven games.
After FC St. Gallen made several moves for the offensive in the following summer break, Igor Tadić's chances of playing continued to decline. Therefore, the contract was terminated on June 27, 2013 that Tadic can look for a new club free of charge.
Since July 1, 2013, Igor Tadić has been playing for the traditional Geneva club Servette FC , which competes in the Challenge League for the 2013/14 season. Already on his first outing, Tadić met for his new club. After a year at Servette FC , in which he scored 11 goals in 29 games, the purchase option was not drawn by Servette and so he moved to FC Schaffhausen in the summer of 2014 . In his first season 2014/15 with FC Schaffhausen, he was the top scorer in the Challenge League with 19 goals.
On July 1, 2018, Tadić switched to the Liechtenstein club FC Vaduz , where he signed a one-year contract. After the contract expired, he moved back to SC Kriens. Igor Tadic is moving to SCK. sckriens.ch , accessed on March 6, 2020 .
