Ihab Jabbar Hashi Hashim (born March 30, 1993 ) is an Iraqi athlete who specializes in the 800-meter run .

Athletic career

Ihab Jabbar Hashi Hashim gained his first international experience at the Islamic Solidarity Games 2017 in Baku , where he finished seventh in the 800-meter run in 1: 47.34 minutes. Then he retired at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar with 1: 51.75 min in qualification. The following year he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and was seventh in the relay in 3: 07.64 min and eliminated with 1: 48.87 min in the lead-up. At the Arab Championships in Cairo , he retired with 1: 50.58 min in the lead and won the relay in 3: 06.23 min. He was then disqualified with the relay at the Asian Championships in Doha .

In 2018, Hashim became the Iraqi champion in the 800-meter run.
