Ike Weir
Ike Weir (born February 5, 1867 in Lurgan , County Armagh , Northern Ireland as Isaac O'Neil Weir , † September 12, 1908 ) was a British boxer and normal boom . He held the universal world championship belt in featherweight from March 31, 1889 to January 13, 1890 . At the same time he was the first world champion according to the Queensberry rules in this weight class .
His last fight, which he lost by TKo in round 10 against the American Mike Sears , took place on March 17, 1898 in the USA .
