Ikuo Matsumoto ( Japanese 松本 育 夫 , Matsumoto Ikuo ; born November 3, 1941 in Utsunomiya , Tochigi Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach .

National team

In 1966, Matsumoto made his debut for the Japanese national soccer team . Matsumoto made eleven international appearances and scored one goal. With the Japanese national team he qualified for the 1968 Olympic Games . At the Olympic Games in 1968, Japan won the bronze medal.
