Ilario Alcini

Ilario Alcini (born March 1, 1887 in Massa Martana , Province of Perugia , Italy ; † April 10, 1976 ) was an Italian clergyman and curial archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church .

Life

Ilario Alcini received on 31 July 1910, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On August 25, 1943, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the titular bishop of Dionysias and apostolic visitor to the seminaries of Italy. The Bishop of Todi , Alfonso Maria de Sanctis , donated him episcopal ordination on October 3rd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Vicar Apostolic of Addis Ababa , Giovanni Maria Emilio Castellani, OFM , and the Bishop of Orvieto , Francesco Pieri . On October 27, 1951 Pius XII appointed him. titular Archbishop of Nicaea .

Ilario Alcini attended all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
