Ilarion Ridge (English; Bulgarian Иларионов рид Ilarionow rid ) is a partially freeze and up to 240 m high mountain ridge on Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In Breznik Heights, it rises on the south bank of Hardy Cove 2 km southwest of Parchevich Ridge , 2.5 km northeast of Vratsa Peak , 1.3 km north of St. Kiprian Peak and 2.6 km north-northwest of Fort Point .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it while surveying the Tangra Mountains on the neighboring Livingston Island between 2004 and 2005. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2006 after the Bulgarian clergyman Ilarion Makariopolski (1812-1875), an activist for an independent Bulgarian Church and the Bulgarian National Revival .
