Ilja Matouš (born April 17, 1931 in Horní Branná ; † April 24, 2018 ) was a Czechoslovak cross-country skier .

Matouš ran his first international race at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1954 in Falun . There he finished 32nd place over 15 km and seventh place with the relay. At the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo , he achieved 13th place over 15 km, tenth place over 30 km and eighth place with the relay. Two years later he came at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti on 54th place over 30 km, 44th place over 15 km and 11th place with the relay. At the Czechoslovak championships he won six times with the relay. After his cross-country skiing career, he coached the Czechoslovak women's team in cross-country skiing.
