Ilka Pedersen (born August 25, 1990 in Duisburg ) is a German soccer player who was most recently under contract with SG Essen-Schönebeck .
Career
Ilka Pedersen started playing soccer at TuS Asterlagen. In 2000 she moved to FCR 2001 Duisburg . She played her first Bundesliga game on October 7, 2007 in a 2-0 away win against TSV Crailsheim . With Duisburg she won the DFB Cup twice and the UEFA Women's Cup once. In the summer of 2010, Pedersen moved to SG Essen-Schönebeck. In May 2011, Pedersen's pregnancy became known. It has been inactive since then.
For Ilka Pedersen, the dream of participating in the European U-19 women’s championship broke prematurely. In the penultimate qualifying game against hosts Romania, the midfielder had to be replaced in the seventh minute with a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament that put her out of action for at least five months.
