With Duisburg she won the DFB Cup twice and the UEFA Women's Cup once. In the summer of 2010, Pedersen moved to SG Essen-Schönebeck. In May 2011, Pedersen's pregnancy became known. It has been inactive since then.

For Ilka Pedersen, the dream of participating in the European U-19 women’s championship broke prematurely.
