Ilona Kühne (born October 25, 1941 in Wernigerode ) is a doctor and politician for the FDP in Saxony-Anhalt .

Life and work

After high school and high school, Ilona Kühne completed a medical degree (including in Romania 1961-63), which was followed by specialist training. She is a specialist in occupational, environmental, addictive and tropical medicine. During the GDR era, it was used several times on large construction sites abroad for medical care. After completing the compulsory assistantship, she built up the occupational and company medical care for construction workers in the former Magdeburg district . Since 1969 she was head of the occupational health advice center. In 1989 she was elected medical director of the Magdeburg Polyclinic . Today she is the head physician of the occupational medicine service of the construction industry trade association , Saxony-Anhalt state association. She is of Protestant denomination, married and has two children.

Engagement in politics

Medical Councilor Ilona Kühne joined the Liberal Democratic Party of Germany (LDPD) in 1983 and was involved in the health and social services sectors. She was a member of the Magdeburg district (health) and the Magdeburg city parliament (construction). After the peaceful revolution in 1989, Ilona Kühne joined the FDP . She was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt in the 1st electoral period (1990–1994), where she was a member of the Committee on Labor and Social Affairs and the Committee on Environment and Nature Conservation. She was a city ​​councilor in Magdeburg from 1994 to 1999 .

MR Ilona Kühne was the district chairwoman of the FDP district association Magdeburg, whose honorary chairwoman she is today.
