Ilse Draxler

Ilse Draxler (born April 3, 1942 in Mödling ) is an Austrian paleobotanist .

Ilse Draxler in 1972 at the University of Vienna to Dr. phil. PhD . In 1966 she began to work as a scientific officer at the Federal Geological Institute in Vienna . In 2003 she became head of the palaeontology and collections department and retired at the end of 2007. She devoted herself to researching the history of climate and vegetation.

Ilse Draxler published numerous articles in German and Austrian journals, in several yearbooks of the Federal Geological Institute (Vienna) and in various online media, especially in the field of pollen analysis .
