Ilse Fetik (born October 22, 1957 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and union functionary. From 2013 to 2015, Fetik was a member of the Austrian Federal Council delegated by the Vienna City Council and State Parliament .

Career

Ilse Fetik was born in Vienna and grew up in the Austrian capital, where she first attended elementary school and from 1967 to 1970 a modern language school, then from 1970 to 1975 a natural science grammar school. Subsequently, in 1975/76, she completed the high school diploma course at the Vienna Commercial Academy and started working in the banking sector.

Ilse Fetik has been a works council member at Erste Bank der oesterreichischen Sparkassen since 1984, and a board member of the pension insurance company since 2000 . In addition, she has been a union member of the European works council of Erste Group since 2005 , since 2010 deputy chairwoman of the trade union for private employees, printing, journalism, paper and its federal women chairwoman as well as a member of the federal executive committee of the Austrian trade union federation . Since 2004 she has also been on the board of the Vienna Chamber of Labor . Professionally, she works as a unit head of the European Workers Social Affairs Organization of Erste Group.

On June 27, 2013 Ilse Fetik was sent by the Vienna City Council and State Parliament as a member of the Federal Council. After the state and municipal council elections in Vienna in 2015 , she left the Federal Council on November 23, 2015.
