The Ilyo Point (English; Bulgarian Нос Ильо Nos Iljo ) is a narrow rocky and 600 m long headland on the east coast of Clarence Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is 4.77 km north of Sugarloaf Island , 1.17 km south of Kakrina Point and 5.45 km south of Cape Lloyd on the south side of the entrance to Smith Cove .
British scientists mapped it in 1972 and 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2014 after the Bulgarian rebel leader Iljo Wojwoda (1805–1898).
