In the Land of the Stuffed Animals is an American animated short film by Rudolf Ising from 1935.
action
In the evening, a little girl reads to her cuddly toys the story of the princess who is guarded by a dragon and longs for a savior. After the girl falls asleep, a toy knight, a stuffed animal horse and a stuffed dog set out to save the princess.
After minor incidents - including the dog clashing with a toy rabbit - the trio meets the Galico dragon, a three-headed fabric monster. Although the knight on the horse seems inferior at first, the dog manages to be devoured by the dragon and to get out of the dragon again through a patch on the rear. He also stole his dragon tongue, which turns out to be an air trunk .
The kite collapses and the entire landscape is transformed into a rolling surface. Knight, horse and dog suddenly find each other on the bedspread of the girl who sleeps restlessly after the exciting bedtime story. Suddenly it wakes up and is glad that she just had one bad dream. When the curtains are moved by the wind, it hides fearfully under the bedspread.
