Ima Robot is a Los Angeles- based alternative rock band that formed in the mid-1990s. Founding members are Alex Ebert (singer), Tim Anderson ( guitar , later producer of the Dead Man's Bones ) and Oliver "Oligee" Goldstein ( keyboard ). They signed a recording deal with Virgin Records , which released their first two singles Dynomite and Alive in 2003 (from the album Ima Robot ). In 2006 the drummer of the rock band Oleander switched to Ima Robot. In September of the same year they released their second album Monument to the Masses .
Ima Robot became known to a larger audience because they contributed the theme song to the American TV series Suits with Greenback Boogie .
