history
The company was founded in 1999 as Propertygate AG and was available at www.propertygate.com. In autumn 2001, Axel Springer SE took over 100 percent of the company. In 2002 the broker association RDM took a share of 25.1 percent and brought its own real estate exchange, which had been operated at www.rdm-immonet.de, into the company. From August 2002 the company traded as Immonet GmbH. Both real estate exchanges were technically merged and were available from May 2003 at www.immonet.de. In spring 2015, Immowelt AG and Immonet GmbH, today Immowelt Hamburg GmbH, merged to form the Immowelt Group. In April 2017 the name was changed to Immowelt Hamburg GmbH.
Products
Mobile Apps Immonet offers applications for the iPhone or iPad, Android devices and Windows- Phone devices. The Immonet iPad app was named one of the best apps of the year by Apple in 2012. Immonet also offers the house building app, a free app for the iPad and iPhone. Those interested in house building can use it to search for their dream property from a selection of almost 700 houses and find out about manufacturers and model home parks in their area.
