Ring German Broker
The Ring Deutscher Makler - RDM Association of Real Estate Professions and Property Managers Federal Association eV was founded in October 1924 by regional broker organizations as the Reich Association of German Brokers (RDM) for real estate, mortgage and finance eV in the legal form of a registered association in Cologne . The origins of the RDM can be traced back to the 19th century. Among other things, the RDM is one of the founding members of the pan-European umbrella association CEPI and of the European expert association TEGoVA , based in Brussels.
On August 28, 2004, the Real Estate Association Germany IVD Federal Association of Real Estate Consultants, Brokers, Administrators and Experts eV emerged from the Federal Association of the RDM Ring Deutscher Makler eV and the Association of German Brokers (VDM) . Thus the real estate association IVD is the legal successor of the RDM Bundesverband and the VDM.
Several RDM associations have rejected the merger with the VDM and are continuing to work in some smaller regions. They have come together to form a working group, Ring Deutscher Makler , based in Berlin , and thus coordinate their work. In addition to local real estate agents, its members also include house and apartment property managers, property developers, construction supervisors and experts.
There are still four state and five district associations: Berlin and Brandenburg , Bremerhaven , Düsseldorf , Essen , Münster , Saarbrücken , Saxony , Saxony-Anhalt and South Westphalia (associations of the RDM in the regions). There is no identity with the former traditional or federal association RDM.
The work of the federal associations RDM and VDM is continued by the real estate association IVD.
