Immortal Cities: Children of the Nile is a building game that was released in 2004 by Tilted Mill Entertainment in the USA . The game was released in Europe in February 2005. The game principle is based on the previous game Pharaoh and the Caesar series.

Gameplay

From a bird's eye view, the player in the role of Pharaoh controls the construction of a settlement, this for the first time in three-dimensional graphics. As in Pharaoh, the game is set in ancient Egypt . The player conceives and constructs huge cities, erects huge monuments (including his own tomb) and cares about the needs of his people, who have real-life simulated behavior patterns.

Publications

In July 2008, Tilted Mill released an improved version called Children of the Nile: Enhanced Edition . Also in 2008, the company released an expansion called Children of the Nile: Alexandria .
