Immy Humes
Immy Humes (* in New York City , New York ) is an American director and film producer .
Life
Humes grew up as one of four daughters from the first marriage of novelist Harold L. Humes in New York City. After studying at Harvard University , she worked as an independent filmmaker. Her first film work for PBS , A Little Vicious , in which she acted as director and producer, was nominated for an Oscar in 1992 for Best Documentary Short Film. In 1994 she produced Michael Moore's television series TV Nation . Since then she has worked for various broadcasters such as National Geographic and A&E Network .
