Impératif français is a Canadian cultural association with the aim of preserving and promoting the French language .

The club, founded in 1975, is based in Gatineau . He is associated on a voluntary basis with several organizations for language training in France , Belgium , Switzerland and in Saint-Boniface (Manitoba) , with the Acadians of Nova Scotia , Prince Edward Island , New Brunswick , Louisiana and Maine , as well as in other regions of the Francophone America.
