Imperial War Museum North

The Imperial War Museum North is a military museum in Trafford , Greater Manchester , England . It opened on July 5, 2002 and forms one of five branches of the Imperial War Museum , and the first outside of the south-east of England. The building was designed by the internationally renowned architect Daniel Libeskind .
