The pulse-Theater-Verlag was a specialist publisher for all classes of amateur theater .

He was founded in 1932 by Dr. Heinrich Buchner founded in Munich . In the third generation, it was managed by Florian Laber from 1982 to 2018.

The publication program comprises around 1800 titles (as of 2012). Books and materials on the subjects of acting training / acting, improvisational theater and clown theater are published in the affiliated book publisher 'Buschfunk' .
