Ina Kutulas

Ina-Kathrin Kutulas , b. Schildhauer , mostly Ina Kutulas (* 1965 in Magdeburg ) is a German author.

Ina-Kathrin Kutulas started writing poetry during her school days. First publications followed (until 1985 under her maiden name Ina-Kathrin Schildhauer) and prizes. In 1983 she first became interested in re-works and since then, together with Asteris Kutulas , has translated a large number of works by important Greek authors ( Konstantin Kavafis , Giorgos Seferis , Mikis Theodorakis , Jannis Ritsos , Odysseas Elytis etc.) into German. During this time she was able to get to know some of these artists (Ritsos, Elytis, Theodorakis) personally. Between 1987 and 1989 she worked on the production of the magazine Bizarre City . From 1990 to 1991 she worked in the editorial department of the monthly boulevard Sondeur . From 1992 to 1996 Ina Kutulas lived on the outskirts of Athens. There she developed into a prose writer and began working on her diary novel “Maybe Athens - Berlin Maybe”, which she finished in Berlin; In 1999 the book was published by the bankruptcy book publisher Claudia Gehrke (Tübingen), which in 1992 also published her first book “Herbstzeitlose”. In addition to her work as a post-poet, Ina Kutulas worked for several years as a project manager for children's art projects, but still mainly as an author of essayistic texts. From 2005 to 2006 she stayed in Athens again. In 2009 and 2010 they mainly worked on the book project “Mikis Theodorakis. A life in pictures ”and on the film project“ Mikis Theodorakis. Composer "(for ARTE). In 2011 Ina Kutulas wrote the film script for “Recycling Medea” together with Asteris Kutulas and supervised this film project with him until it was completed in March 2013. From 2014 to 2018 she worked as a co-author and co-producer on the film project “ Dance Fight Love Die “.
