The mountain Inca Camacho (also Cerro Incacamachi ) is located on the western edge of the Altiplano and is part of the Andes high mountain range of the Cordillera Occidental in Bolivia .
The Inca Camacho has a height of 4792 m and, together with the neighboring Pacha Kkollu Quimsa Misa (4702 m), forms a double peak that protrudes from the 3700 m high plateau. The mountain is located about 100 km west of Lake Poopó and 40 km north of Salar de Coipasa . The largest town on the Inca Camacho is the rural town of Huachacalla with 2,025 inhabitants (2010 update) on its northwestern edge.
The Inca Camacho is a stratovolcano whose formation is believed to have occurred in the Quaternary , i.e. within the last two million years or so.
