Indestroy was an American thrash metal band from Rockville , Maryland that formed in 1983 and split again around 1989.
history
The band was formed in 1983, the group's name being borrowed from a song by The Obsessed . The group's first demo followed in 1986. After the band had signed a contract with New Renaissance Records , the self-titled debut album was released the following year, with singer and guitarist Mark Strassburg, bassist Jeff Parsons, guitarist Drew Adrian and drummer Gus Basilika to be heard. Adrian was replaced by Shawn Williams for the next release and Rob "Cougin" Brannigan joined the band as the new drummer. The EP Senseless Theories was released in 1989. Shortly after the release, the band broke up again.

The band plays classic Thrash Metal, the music being comparable to the works of Megadeth , Death Angel , Possessed , DRI and Dead Brain Cells .
