IndustriALL
IndustriALL is one of the global trade union federations founded in 2012. The association is based in Geneva . The union organizes around 50 million members from 197 individual unions.
The president of industriALL is Jörg Hofmann (IG Metall), General Secretary Valter Sanches (CNM / CUT, Brazil).
history
In June 2012 three international trade union federations merged to form industriALL:
- IMF (International Metalworkers' Federation, German: IMB, Internationaler Metallgewerkschaftsbund)
- ICEM (International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers' Unions)
- ITGLWF (International Textile, Garment and Leather Workers' Federation)
The industriALL European Trade Union is the European branch of industriALL .
IndustrieAll from Germany includes IG Metall and IG BCE , from Austria the PRO-GE union , from Switzerland Syna and Unia .
IndustriALL European Trade Union includes GPA-DJP from Austria and TS VPE from Switzerland .
In 2016 the 2nd IndustriALL Congress took place in Rio de Janeiro.
